out of pure curiosity what is the cheapest gun to build from a parts kit
Uhh... ooo boy that's a can of worms.
Honestly, I'd assume the Sten variations would be the cheapest to build... problem is you have to use a certain number of U.S. made parts to make it truly compliant... and that would include having someone manufacture a new bolt assembly (closed bolt systems).
Besides that... you can never, *ever* transfer the thing unless you jump through tons and tons of paperwork and red tape (*you* make the receiver).
Honestly, one of these days I'll try it... only when I really, *really* have nothing else to do with my life. Sounds fun... but may not prove to be...
