whats a better Paintball Gun Smart Parts ion xe or Dye Proto 09 slg?
k i saw the smart parts ion and i looks pretty sick but i wana know whats a better gun the regular ion or the ion xe?? and is that gun a better gun than a dye proto 09 slg?
The Ion XE's design allows you to remove the bolt without having to take the whole marker apart as you need to on the original Ion. I own both.
The better gun argument is for trash talk in the safe zone. A lot of people run down the Ion but I send a lot of them to the dead box. The marker you play with is only so much of your game. The rest is between your ears and how steady your hands are as you wrk the trigger. A great marker in the hands of a crappy player don't make for a game winning combo.
IMHO gun skills matter most. The only mods a marker needs is a decent barrel system and a good force feed hopper. I run a full freak on my unmodded Ion and I've got no complaints as far as range and accuracy are concerned.
