Why can't I keep my eye open to put eyedrops into it?
Today I wanted to put some eyedrops in my eyes because they were red and dry. But every time I try to use eyedrops, I can't keep my eyes open long enough to drop them in. There's a reflex (worse in my right eye than my left) that just keeps them shut despite my best effort with my hands to keep them open. It's really annoying, I don't know why it always happens, is there some medical reason?
its the bodys natural instinct to protect one of the most precious parts of the body, its the same when anything comes towards your face fast, the first thing you do is close your eyes to protect them instinctivly, just the same when you sneeze etc keep trying you will get there :0
