Half Face
Ive modelled half a face in plastecine; how can I simply get the other half without having to model it myself?
... Could I use the half I've already made to produce a mirror of it using some sort of method? Also, what could I use to make, preferably, a durable cast of the model, so I could then make more?

Ok, I've just gone on an imaginary tour of the processes you'd have to go through to do this. Basically in order to get the reversed image, but in positive, you would need to cast and then make a hollow cast of the cast, which you could then reverse and cast from. The result would not be exactly the same size, and you'd still have to wrestle with the join.
At the end of this you'd still have a half face made of plasticine, without a matching other side, since you can't cast plasticine.
Why not just bite the bullet and make the other side? You can use calipers to make sure it's symmetrical. If you made Side One you can surely make Side Two.
Then you'll have your face, complete in plasticine and ready to cast as many times as you want.
I hope if you continue with this project you'll post a photo of the finished work. These questions make me very curious to see what's being produced out there!
