Good upgrades for Ion XE?
i just bought an ion XE and i want to know what upgrades will be good for it. i already have a virtue Oled Board, halo B hopper, CP Flame drop-foward, and 16 inch barrel.
what other upgrades should i get? any bolts, QEV's, anything to make my gun more accurate/fast.
Don't upgrade the bolt, the benefits aren't worth the price.
QEV is a good upgrade & cheap for what it does. Replaces the middle banjo fitting inside the Ion. Increases cycling speeds by venting air that would usually get wasted being sent back to the solenoid. Actually increases air efficiency a little - not a lot, maybe adds a pod's worth of paint to your shot count, which isn't bad for a part that costs $20 or less.
If you want better accuracy, use better, fresher paint. I'd suggest a new barrel but you've already got an aftermarket one.
If you don't like the trigger, you can upgrade that. Also, if the feedneck isn't a clamping one, look into upgrading that, too.
