Fin Paddle
What fin set up should i use for my 8'6 longboard?
Right now i'm using the 2+1 fcs set up, on EPS 8'6" longboard.. The outer fins are slightly shorter than the center fin. When i paddle hard to catch the waves, it seems like i have alot of drag; and my board goes side to side. So i miss em alot of the times. Compared to my other longboard, which is 9'0 tradition bullet look. The OfishL fins are much shorter, and the center fin is 7"6 way longer than the outer fins. ITs much easier catching the waves, even though the board is much thinner.
So as my 9 footer is getting repaired. I'd like to improve my experience with the 8'6 longboard. Should i get new sidebites, shorter ones? Or get a longer center fin? Ditch the sidebites and get a huge single fin?
What i want is the 8'6 to be more stable when i'm paddling to get waves, and when i stand up. The thing moves around alot.
